Terms
Booking, cancellation, refunds
These terms govern your use of parkstonepilates.co.uk and any classes, packages or services booked through us. By booking with Parkstone Pilates Studio you agree to these terms in full.
Booking and payment are handled on this website. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Studio memberships (Bronze, Silver and Gold) are billed monthly with a 3 month minimum, after which you can cancel anytime, with cancellation taking effect at the end of the current period. The Unlimited Live Online membership has no minimum term and is billed differently; see Live online classes below.
Class cancellations made more than 12 hours before the start return your class credit. You can still cancel inside 12 hours — please do, so your teacher knows and somebody on the waitlist can take the space — but the class is then forfeited and the credit is not returned. Missed classes are treated the same way.
We reserve the right to amend these terms. The current version is the one published on this page. For the full production policy (data protection, intellectual property, liability and dispute resolution) please contact us.
Live online
Live online classes
Live online classes are taught in real time by our instructors and joined over video. They are delivered live only and are not recorded for replay. They are intended for participants with previous Pilates experience who can exercise safely and independently while following verbal instruction. They are not suitable if you are new to Pilates, have any spinal, neck or joint conditions or injuries, have any medical contraindications to exercise, are pregnant or postnatal without prior approval of the studio, or have had a hip or knee replacement.
Membership and payment
- The Unlimited Live Online membership is available on a rolling monthly basis. There is no minimum term and you can cancel anytime.
- Membership fees are payable in advance on the 1st day of each month. If you join part way through a month you pay for the rest of that month when you join, and the full monthly fee on the 1st from then on.
- The membership provides unlimited access to all scheduled live online classes during your active membership period.
- Gold studio membership includes unlimited live online classes at no extra charge. All other plans cover studio classes only.
- If you cancel your membership and restart at a later date, any discounted price is lost and the charges current at that time apply.
Health screening
All participants must complete a health questionnaire before attending their first class. It is your responsibility to ensure that the information provided is accurate and up to date, and to inform us of any changes to your health that may affect your ability to participate safely. If you have any concerns about your health, or are unsure whether these classes are suitable for you, please seek advice from your GP or healthcare professional before booking.
By attending a live online class you acknowledge that you are exercising at your own risk and accept responsibility for ensuring that your exercise space is safe, free from hazards and suitable for participation. By booking a class you confirm that you have read and accepted these conditions and that all information provided on your health questionnaire is true and complete.
Booking and joining
Booking for a live online class closes 2 hours before it starts, so that your instructor has a settled roster before setting the room up. That cut off applies to everyone and cannot be overridden by the studio. Joining opens 15 minutes before the start from your account, and your instructor admits you from the waiting room when they are ready.
Class schedule
- We aim to provide a varied timetable of live online classes throughout the week.
- Classes may vary from week to week depending on instructor availability, holidays or unforeseen circumstances.
- We guarantee a minimum of three live online classes per week, except where circumstances arise that are outside of our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, technical failures, illness or other force majeure events.
- We reserve the right to amend the class timetable, instructors and class times where necessary, and we will always endeavour to provide as much notice as possible of any changes.
